Hello All ,    

 

While working on a rather complex graph for my boss, a coworker emailed a joke that completely threw me out of wack... (That's right, I too can make a complex graph...) Now this joke wasn't anything special. It wasn't extra dry or silly. It was just simple and fun...

This joke (listed below), helped inspire this weeks theme: "Simple, Lite, and Fun" and it fits within my eating requirements of "Fire Island Lite".. 

 

THE JOKE:

Why was the number 6 afraid of the number 7? Because 7 ate 9.

-------1.  FIRE ISLAND FUN 2009 

JULY 17th - 19th - SUMMER BEACH HOUSE WEEKEND - YOU'RE INVITED!!

 

Hey guys, this year we have some extra spaces in the annual Fire Island house... It's $100/night/person or $150/night/couples (sharing a bed) if you want to join us... Here's a picture from last year's trip!  Specifically, we are looking for people for NEXT Friday and Saturday nights, JULY 17 & JULY 18 (one or both nights)... SO if you want an awesome beach vacation that's cheap and close to home, drop us a line... Last year was the highlight of the summer!  PS - This cost includes all your meals!

 

The beach house is on the edge of Ocean Beach on Fire Island, which is about 2.5-hours via train & ferry from New York City.  The house has 14 beds, 2 couches and is about 200' from the beach.  It includes an outdoor shower and an indoor disco ball.  There are 3 bathrooms and a washer and dryer.  Feel free to invite your friends...

 

If these deals seems too good to be true and you'd like to join us at the house this year, please contact me at roryrtddouglas@gmail.com with what day(s) you would like to come and how long you plan on staying. Beds will be assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis and we will try to not overbook too much.

Fort Greene Apt is Up for Grabs August 1st.

Co-Op Building: Will take about 2 months to be approved.

Price: $2000 (including utilities) NO BROKER FEE.

Description: The apartment is pretty spacious, it has a view of fort green park (on the 14th floor), 2 bedrooms.

Cons: The owner didn't really take care of the place before we moved in. However it is totally livable, but older.
